• FREE: "Courtesy" Labor (Up to two years) for parts covered by the Manufacturer Parts Warranty. A "CARRY-IN" SERVICE ONLY for products purchased from E-Z Scooter. Void if products are modified, NOT "CARRIED-IN" or serviced by non E-Z Scooter employees.

• FREE: Assembly for new units purchased, delivered and picked up at our shop.

• FREE: Rent with prior approval. E-Z Scooter will credit the rental and shipping costs toward the purchase price. Rent a scooter for one week from a company like Amigo. Similar policy applies to other brands and their products.

• The manufacturer provides the warranty and guaranty.

• Unless provided by the manufacturer, warranty service is carry-in.

• Unless provided by the manufacturer, all in-home service is subject to trip charge, labor and parts cost.

• E-Z Scooter is a repair shop. Therefore, all sales are special order and final.

• Prices are subject to change and do not include tax, handling and shipping costs.

• All new purchases must be paid in advance.

• The suitability of any product to the purchaser's needs cannot be guaranteed.

• E-Z Scooter is not responsible for third party reimbursement.

• E-Z Scooter is not responsible for Medicare, Medicaid or Private Insurance Claims.

• The insured [recipient] is financially responsible for all rejected claims.

• E-Z Scooter will complete client [recipient] supplied claims for services and supplies requested to fill medical insurance prescriptions and manufacturer warranty repairs.

•  E-Z Scooter does not accept responsibility for the outcome when courtesy referrals are made to DME suppliers.

Manufacturers, online and big box stores provide parts warranty without labor or home service. One brand product stores that service what they sell no longer exist and repair shops are rapidly disappearing. By making it harder to get products repaired, manufacturers force you to replace or buy new by claiming that it is easier and cheaper. 

Medicare and Medicaid have made doing business very costly and reduced profit margins to a level that the small durable medical equipment supplier is becoming an endangered species. Often, the co-pay and paperwork make going through insurance not worth the patient's effort. Repair through Medicare and Medicaid is a nightmare.

E-Z Scooter is trying to fill the gap by " providing customer service" and price levels that compare to depending upon your insurance.
